3x GRAMMY® Award-winning international pop powerhouse Dua Lipa released “Dance The Night,” the lead single from the hotly anticipated Barbie movie soundtrack, BARBIE THE ALBUM. The track is accompanied by a dazzling official video, with a cameo from Barbie writer, director and executive producer and 3x OSCAR® nominee Greta Gerwig. You can listen to the track here.

“Dance The Night” is an electrifying, fit-for-summer track, first heard in the film’s official trailer which launched earlier today. The single sees Dua Lipa team up with preeminent collaborators Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyatt (who alongside Ronson composed the music for the film) and Caroline Ailin. In the video, Dua struts through hot pink sets dressed to the nines in pieces from her recently released co-designed Versace collection. The visual is peak Barbie-core complete with glittering disco balls and snippets from the upcoming movie’s dance scene.  BARBIE THE ALBUM, executive produced by Ronson and Greta Gerwig, will feature new tracks from an array of global megastars. It arrives in stores and online Friday, July 21st in conjunction with the theatrical release of the feature film, where Dua also makes a special appearance.

The global superstar’s latest single arrives on the heels of a picturesque runway show on the French Riviera, in honor of Dua’s co-designed collection with Donatella Versace for the iconic house of Versace. The “La Vacanza” collection is a celebration of summer, archival Versace favorites, and the friendship between Dua and Donatella. The collection’s debut in Cannes was immediately met with praise from global fashion authorities like WWD who hailed, “The looks were polished party girl, perfectly social media ready for the generation weaned on Instagram and dopamine dressing,” and British Vogue who noted, “While luxury brands enlisting celebrity ambassadors is nothing new, a star being invited to explore a house archive and have a hand in actually designing a collection is something else entirely.” The see-now-buy-now collection is available at all Versace boutiques and online at Versace.com.
