‘How Do I Say Goodbye’, is co-written with Jon Hume. “We have a weird chemistry where we almost feel a part of each other’s brains,” says Dean. Hume also co-wrote ‘Hurtless’ and the global smash hit ‘Be Alright’, complimenting Dean’s ingenious songwriting ability.

‘Hurtless’, hit Top 30 in the ARIA Singles Chart, # 3 ARIA Australian singles chart, # 1 Shazam, Top 15 Australian Radio Chart, Spotify Top 40 Weekly, Top 15 Apple, #3 iTunes singles chart, #1 iTunes Singer/Songwriter. Other tracks on Dean’s second album The Hardest Love were overseen by ‘Waves’/ ‘Be Alright’ producers Nick Atkinson and Ed Holloway and US pop journeyman Tyler Johnson (Harry Styles).

Dean Lewis has spent much off 2022 touring globally across the US and EU as well as performing at festivals with good friend Kygo playing live their hit song ‘Lost Without You. ‘
