Supported by Jack Saunders at Radio 1, CRYSTAL FIGHTERS’ latest track ‘All My Love’ has proved to be the most popular moment of their recent ‘Hypnotic Sun’ EP. It’s now set to be discovered by a wider audience with the launch of its official video.
‘All My Love’ continues CRYSTAL FIGHTERS’ adventurous streak for exploring personal experiences within exhilarating electro-pop anthems. This time around, they capture the uncertainty of a potentially blossoming relationship with a singalong hook that’s sure to be a standout moment of their future live shows.
Directed by Balthazar Klarwein of the O Creative Studio (Solange, A$AP Rocky, FKA twigs) in Barcelona, the ‘All My Love’ video transports Crystal Fighters’ frontman Bast Pringle to a trippy, psychedelic tunnel. He falls under the spell of mysterious Goddess, her already otherworldly status heightened by her striking four-eyed facial features. The video’s aesthetic touches on the retro-futuristic style of Gaudi and Kubrick.
Talking about the song, the band’s multi-instrumentalist Gilbert Vierich commented, “We’ve all been there, right? You’re there, you really like someone, but are you wasting your time? This happens to me on a weekly basis. The people I’m in love with aren’t in love with me.”
Bast adds, “Until you know exactly what you want, you’re going to keep almost getting what you kind of want.”
Completed by Graham Dickson, CRYSTAL FIGHTERS’ inspired voyage to the latest horizon in their always unpredictable career continues. The genre-alchemists’ latest chapter took flight with a widescreen take on their life-affirming sound on ‘Boomin’ In Your Jeep’. The single was premiered by Annie Mac, earned further airplay fromDev & Alice Levine on Radio 1 and has fired over the 10 million streams landmark at Spotify.
CRYSTAL FIGHTERS will advance this bold new sonic approach with the March 1st release of their new mixtape. Their most substantial body-of-work since signing to Warner Bros. Records, it ushers in a new era in their journey with charismatic style. Some of the highlights are likely to receive their first live performance on the band’s next tour.
CRYSTAL FIGHTERS are often heralded as one of the world’s greatest festival bands for their ability to blend genre-expanding sounds, intensely hued visuals and an exultant atmosphere. They return to the stage for a European tour in March before headlining the O2 Academy Brixton on April 4th.
