COUNTERFEIT. have just revealed the official music video for their latest track, The New Insane. The video mirrors the frantic energy of the song perfectly, displaying blood-red hues over flashing live footage of the band performing to tightly packed raucous crowds. It was shot over the course of their UK/European tour last year. The New Insane got added straight into Spotify’s prestigious New Music Friday in the U.S which has a whopping 3.4 million followers, on its day of release as well as New Music Friday playlists in Denmark, Italy, India and more. It was also recently added to UK Spotify playlists New Noise (326k followers), and All New Rock (231k followers). Last week saw the track receive its first radio play, courtesy of Dan P Carter on his BBC Radio 1 Rock Show. Watch the video here.
The 4-piece have recently announced that they are to support Canadian rockers Palaye Royale on the UK leg of their world tour, next month. They will kick things off at Glasgow’s Garage on 18th February, and make their way around the UK where they will play shows in Manchester, at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire, and Birmingham before wrapping things up at Bristol’s SWX on 24th February.
