Cincinnati’s own singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Catlea has released their highly anticipated new single ‘Crumbling’ out now. Known for their eclectic musical style, ranging from alt-indie to rock, pop, and EDM, Catlea continues to captivate audiences with their unique blend of angelic yet raw and powerful vocals.

From the uplifting opening piano to the vibrant positive tones of the final chorus, the new single is an infectious, energetic song that displays both the inevitability of not living up to the unrealistic expectations and finding the power to rebuild oneself.

“For me, music has always been the point. It helps me get up in the morning, get through the day, and find meaning I’d otherwise miss in the moments in between the busy events of life. Music creates a space for me where I feel at home,” shares the rising artist. ‘Crumbling’ is Catlea’s vivid and creative approach to expressing deep vulnerability through a playful lens.

Having previously found support from the likes of Happy Magazine, CLOUT and Plastic Magazine, the young star has also spent the last three years meticulously crafting ten new alt-indie tracks for their upcoming full-length album ‘Language Barrier’.

The latest single ‘Crumbling’ was produced by Claudia Mills (BITTERS) and her incredible instrumental talent as well as featuring Nick Tsang (Ed Sheeran, The Script, Lewis Capaldi) on piano. Working closely with renowned mixer and masterer Jason Boshoff (Josh Groban, David Gray, Rufus Wainwright) at Room to Studios in Barcelona, Spain, and recording all vocals locally at PLAY Audio (formerly Gwynne Sound), Catlea is set to deliver a truly memorable musical experience with these upcoming tunes.

“To those who are lost: we can always find ourselves again, no matter how many times we may crumble” they say, offering a message of hope and resilience to those who listen.

‘Crumbling’ is available to stream on all platforms now and showcases Catlea’s journey of creating music as they resonate deeper with their listeners.
