BLEACHERS have unveiled the gorgeous video for TINY MOVES, the third single taken from their highly anticipated new album Bleachers.
Co-directed by Jack Antonoff’s wife Margaret Qualley and Alex Lockett, the enchanting visuals feature Margaret performing a self-choreographed routine as dawn breaks across the New York skyline.
Bleachers recently announced details of the US leg of their From The Stage To The Studio tour. The new dates will see the band take their renowned live show across the US in May and June with support from Samia, including the sixth edition of the band’s legendary Shadow Of The City Festival in New Jersey.
The US dates follow the UK leg of the tour in March, selling out instantly on release with UK fans eager to see the band play their first run of shows in support of their highly anticipated new album. Bleachers, the band’s fourth studio album, is released on 8 March via Dirty Hit and features the singles Modern Girl, Alma Mater and Tiny Moves. There’s a rich depth to the band’s sound on Bleachers, laid out in bright, soulful technicolour. The album is front man Jack Antonoff’s distinctly New Jersey take on the bizarre sensory contradictions of modern life, on his position in culture, and on the things he cares about.
Releasing their debut album Strange Desire in 2014, the band have built a huge and passionate following across three studio albums, becoming renowned for their impressive live show and infectious camaraderie. The band’s last album, Take The Sadness Out Of Saturday Night, took them to new heights, showcasing Antonoff’s immersive songwriting and, as Variety testified, his innate skill at “supersizing personal stories into larger-then-life pop anthems”.
