Beverley and Billy will also pair up for the first time to co-host the prestigious ‘Olivier Awards with Mastercard’ at Royal Albert Hall, 6 April. Highlights from the ceremony will be broadcast on Magic Radio from 8pm and ITV1 at 10.15pm on Sunday 6 April, and later streamed on ITVX.

A three-time Olivier Award nominee, Beverley Knight won an Olivier Award in 2023 for her role in The Old Vic’s Sylvia and is soon to make her professional play debut in Marie and Rosetta at the Rose Theatre, Wolverhampton Grand and Chichester Festival Theatre.

International star of stage and screen, Billy Porter is a Primetime Emmy, GRAMMY® and 3 x Tony Award winner, currently starring in the multi-Olivier Award-winning Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club in the West End and set to make his directorial debut with ‘The Bitter Earth’ at the Soho Theatre this June.

Billy Porter said “I’m thrilled to be working with Bev on “Never Say Never!” Our careers have had many parallels, hers in the UK and mine in the U.S. Our artistry has taken us from contemporary music to the stage and beyond. You can’t put us into any one box, genre, or medium. Here’s to an amazing time hosting the Olivier’s together!”

Beverley Knight said “Ever since I saw the smash hit TV series Pose, I have wanted to work with Billy Porter. His voice and his energy is so special. The universe was clearly listening. He is currently starring in “Cabaret” in London, and as result we found ourselves paired together to co-host the Olivier awards. It was the perfect opportunity to get in the studio, and Never Say Never is the perfect song for us. I could not be more happy.”
