Be Myself is the brand new release from George Pelham along with the music video. George’s smooth and soaring vocals compliment the upbeat track, and encapsulate the positive lyrics. The official music video was shot and directed by Lindsey Henderson during the first few days after the country went into lockdown, due to the Coronavirus outbreak. It sees George take on three very different personas, alongside his true self performing the song. Of the track George has said, “I wrote Be Myself at a time when I was really discovering the kind of artist I wanted to be. I’d spent several years before that making music in the hope that other people would like it, rather than just doing it for myself.” Watch the video below
In support of George’s last single release Not Tonight, the young Londoner decided to put his own unique twist on posting song covers. He posted a different cover wearing a different suit every day for 30 days, on creative social media platform TikTok. George’s debut single What A Time To Be Alive has amassed 700k streams on Spotify. The video can be viewed here.
