London born, Brighton raised singer/songwriter Grace Carter has announced a headline UK and European tour for spring next year. The 12-date tour will kick off in Manchester 24th March and run through to Tuesday 9th April finishing in Amsterdam on 9th April 2019. Full dates below.
Grace has also shared her ‘Why Her Not Me’ EP fresh off the back of being announced on the BBC Sound Poll Longlist. This year Grace has grown from strength to strength, with her once-heard-never-forgotten vocal and sold-out debut headline UK and European tour including a sold-out show at Village Underground, as well as being tipped by the likes of MTV, YouTube Music and Ticketmaster in their coveted one-to-watch lists. The EP features her released tracks to date as well as a new track ‘Waiting Room’ with supporting visual.
Grace grew up in Brighton listening to the likes of Lauryn Hill and Nina Simone, which is evident in her powerful songwriting, whichshows emotional and musical maturity. She began songwriting during her school days, and at the age of fourteen was already performing her own material in public. One year later, Grace had converted her bedroom into a makeshift recording studio and when she reached Music College she taught herself the piano by watching YouTube videos.
Armed with emotionally exposing songs and an impressive live presence, 2018 has become Grace’s breakout year.
