Bad//Dreems announce new single and UK tour 2020

BAD // DREEMS, the outsider rock five-piece from Adelaide, South Australia have released a video for their new single SONNY, the latest track to be taken from their recent record DOOMSDAY BALLET LP.

BAD // DREEMS released DOOMSDAY BALLET in October via BMG / Farmer and The Owl to enormous critical praise, including an Australian Music Prize nomination, constant support from KEXP Radio in the USA, countless plays at college radio stations, a full album feature on triple j Radio in Australia and, as if this wasn’t enough, a sold out Australian album tour.

SONNY follows two blistering singles, DOUBLE DREAMING and MORNING RAIN, already taken from the album. With its thick, lush guitar textures, SONNY, explains guitarist Alex Cameron, was, “Originally a jangling ballad about the passing of time, loss and longing. In the studio, though, it took on a rough and tumble form to include a rambunctious guitar solo”. The video for the single was filmed and edited edited by Tom Stevens.

The band are touring the UK with fellow Australians THE CHATS from the end of November through to the middle of December, before returning home to round off a massive year with performances at Best Night Ever on the Gold Coast and the National Falls Festival run. The band have now also announced a series of headline UK and EU dates for March 2020. Full UK dates as below.
