Norwegian superstar AURORA has teamed up with Taiwanese artist Qing-Feng (aka Greeny) on the brand new track, Storm. The dreamy yet euphoric track perfectly blends both AURORA and Greeny’s vocals, culminating in a pulsing and uplifting chorus.
AURORA has said of the track, “The urge of wanting to feel something.. To be tossed around, and swirled. Sometimes I wish you could remove the storm that exists inside you and put it out there, in the real world in all its glory.”
AURORA has been on a phenomenal trajectory since the beginning of this year. January saw her score her first ever UK Top 10 with album The Gods We Can Touch (released via Decca), which landed at No.8 in the Official UK Album Chart. Inspired by Greek mythology, the record was described as “Euphoric” and “Heavenly” (NME), and was the third most streamed new album in the world on Spotify the weekend of its release.
More recently, the songstress has been dominating stages across America, whilst on a headline tour there. In April, AURORA completed a sold-out UK headline tour where she stopped in cities including Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol and a packed O2 Brixton Academy in London. Shortly after this, AURORA won a highly-regarded Spellemann Award (Norway’s version of the GRAMMY’s) for International Success Of The Year!
Last single The Woman I Am, garnered tremendous success on the airwaves. It was included as BBC Radio 1’s coveted Hottest Record, Tune Of The Week, and AURORA’s beautiful Piano Sessions – where she covered Harry Styles’ Golden, and performed her own track A Temporary High – became the most viewed of the past year, in just one week. The track has also picked up countless plays on BBC Radio 1, including daytime, as well as plays on BBC Radio 2.
