Astrid S announces her new EP ‘Trust Issues’ out 30th August. The five-track EP will include brand new single ‘Doing To Me’ alongside singles ‘Someone New’, ‘Emotion’, ‘The First One’ and new track ‘Trust Issues’. Pre-order here – https://AstridS.lnk.to/
‘Trust Issues’ features a trio of singles Astrid has released over the past year to widespread acclaim, including ‘The First One’, ‘Emotion’, which MTV labeled ‘another piece of synth-pop perfection’, and ‘Someone New’ – a track Astrid wrote with Charli XCX that received critical acclaim by the likes of Popjustice and The Guardian, who called it a ‘post-tropical What Not to Do list for when you break up with someone’.
The new EP also features two new tracks – single ‘Doing To Me’, which was produced by TMS & The Monsterz and Strangers (Selena Gomez, Kylie, Rita Ora) and written with Wayne Hector (Nicki Minaj, One Direction) and Eyelar (Charli XCX, Tinashe), plus title track ‘Trust Issues’.
Next month Astrid S will embark on her ‘Stripped Down’ tour, which has already sold-out. The tour will see the pop star play a special string of shows across the UK, Europe and the US at hand-picked, intimate venues. This will be her most intimate tour to date, with her performing acoustically alongside a five-piece band. Astrid’s UK date is 26th September at Hoxton Hall.
Astrid’s new EP will be her third to date, following her 2016 self-titled debut ‘Astrid S’, which contained global break-out hit ‘Hurts So Good’, amassing over 200 million streams worldwide and her sophomore EP ‘Party’s Over’ that contained singles ‘Breathe’ and ‘Such A Boy’. Earlier this year Astrid fronted Fendi’s F is for Fendi campaign, went on tour across the US with Zara Larsson and joined 16 year old climate change activist Greta Thunberg for her Fridays For Future event in Sweden, where she gave a special performance.
