Andrew Cushin today lays the foundations for a big year ahead of him as he shares the new single ‘Alright’. It previews his upcoming second album ‘Love Is For Everyone’, which follows on May 2nd via LAB Records. His debut ‘Waiting For The Rain’ was championed by Noel Gallagher, Pete Doherty, Sam Fender and Louis Tomlinson, while his huge hometown following in Newcastle saw him become the youngest ever Geordie to sell-out the City Hall. Listen HERE.

Excelling at ragged indie-rock and confessional singer-songwriting, ‘Alright’ sees Andrew add another slant to his artistic style. In a blur of energy and melody, Andrew delivers the kind of classic instantly anthemic earworm that’s perfectly suited to big festival stages and indie discos alike. While it’s a fun and frenetic sound, it’s still rich with Andrew’s lived-in lyricism – in this case, being empowered to want more in life than you currently have.

‘Alright’ and the album’s recent title track heighten expectations for ‘Love Is For Everyone’, which positions Andrew to dramatically accelerate the rise that he established with his debut. The new album is available to pre-order HERE,with formats including gold vinyl, black vinyl and an expanded bonus CD edition. His official store also offers bundles and signed items.

Having played big shows as guests to Louis Tomlinson, Noel Gallagher, Paul Weller, Blossoms, Lathums and The Reytons, Andrew Cushin ended 2024 with a special headline performance at the opening of a new event space at the Aston Martin F1 HQ – his latest brand endorsement following link-ups with YETI and Weekend Offender. He will follow the release of the new album by embarking upon an extensive UK headline tour, followed by a slot at the north-east’s biggest ever festival, Come Together, alongside the likes of Robbie Williams and Kaiser Chiefs. Andrew will be joined on tour with new band member guitarist Johnny Bond (Catfish and the Bottlemen).
