19-year-old Irish pop sensation Allie Sherlock drops her brand new single ‘ex-Friend’ – a powerful anthem of heartbreak, betrayal and empowerment, written with her collaborator Ollie Green (Freya Ridings, Tom Grennan, Bebe Rexha).

Possessing a clear talent for tapping into the angst and confusion so many teenagers go through, ‘ex Friend’ sees Allie serve as a fantastic kiss-off to someone who stabbed her in the back: “Long story short, I liked this guy, and my friend (at the time) went after him and broke the girl code,” Allie says with a laugh. “I guess we were sort of frenemies – there was definitely something passive-aggressive about the relationship…” – listen to ‘ex-Friend’ HERE.

Allie’s journey began on the streets of Cork and Dublin, where she honed her craft as a busker. Her distinctive voice and captivating presence quickly caught people’s attention, and she has amassed an impressive global fanbase with over 14.5 million followers across her social media platforms.

Her continued remarkable rise is a testament to sheer talent and resilience. Raised in Cork, Ireland, Allie faced significant personal challenges, including the loss of her mother at the age of nine and struggles with bullying, which led her to leave school and pursue music full-time. It was during her time busking on Grafton Street that her performance of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Supermarket Flowers’ went viral, leading to her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (watch here), where she stunned audiences with a cover of Adele’s ‘A Million Years Ago’ – propelling her into the international spotlight. Since then, Allie has gone from strength to strength, selling out shows across the UK and Ireland..

Having already sold out headline shows across the UK and Ireland and supported acts such as OneRepublic, Picture This and Gavin James, fans in the UK, Europe & the US will soon be able to catch Allie live, as she prepares a run of exciting headline shows across March and April.

With Ex-Friend, she continues to evolve as an artist, tapping into the complexities of relationships with unflinching honesty and emotional depth. Allie Sherlock is a star on the rise as she continues to cement her place as one of pop’s most exciting young talents.
