As one of the most influential figures in rock and entertainment history, Alice Cooper has continually pushed boundaries and himself. With this record, Alice brings an ode to the road – classic hard-rocking Alice full of wild characters and that tongue-firmly-in-cheek humour. Perhaps the ultimate touring artist, he can still play up to 200 live dates a year. At this point, Alice is unparalleled in the history of music and entertainment ….and is accelerating.

“In the past, the show got reviewed before the music did,” explains Alice. “We had hit #1 albums, but it was always about what we did on www. For Road, I wanted the band to be involved in the foundation of all the songs. I only see these guys when we’re on the road. So, I wanted them to be as tight as they are for the show but on all new material. That’s what we did for this record. When you have a band this good, I believe in showing it off.”
“Road” represents the old-school spirit of Alice Cooper, showcasing grit and showmanship. Backed by his trusted longtime touring bandmates—Ryan Roxie, Chuck Garric, Tommy Henrikson, Glen Sobel, and Nita Strauss — the album reflects their camaraderie and incredible live performances, with classic Alice producer Bob Ezrin also on board. Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello also co-wrote, played, and contributed backing vocals on the high-octane “White Line Frankenstein.”
With timeless anthems like “School’s Out,” “No More Mr. Nice Guy,” and “Poison,” Alice has sold over 50 million albums worldwide and impacted generations of popular culture. From being featured in cult classics like Wayne’s World to starring in Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert, working with everyone from Salvador Dali to Ronnie Corbett, inspiring everyone from Sex Pistols to Lady Gaga, Bowie to heavy metal. Oh and his tour with his supergroup Hollywood Vampires starts July 5th in the UK.
“There’s no downtime for me at all,” Alice says. “I’ve got this album, this tour, Hollywood Vampires, and a whole lot more. Most guys my age want to rest and relax. I’ve never felt more up. Physically, I’m in as good of shape as I’ve ever been. I’m not looking for any way out. I’m not going retire, and I don’t want anyone to think I am. I’m at the top of my game right now.”
