Following the release of ‘Wake Me Up’ earlier this year and the announcement of his debut headline tour, up and coming singer-songwriter Alex Spencer returns with spirited new single ‘Bucket List’.
‘Bucket List’ is an effortlessly catchy, rebellious anthem of youthful defiance. Packed with Alex’s infectious energy, breezy riffs and a lively beat, the tune is set to be the perfect summer soundtrack. His signature storytelling and undeniable charisma shine through on a song that captures the thrill of spontaneity and breaking free from the monotony of life. Listen to ‘Bucket List’ HERE.
“The track explores the concept of embracing life to the fullest, surrounded by the people you love, and seizing every moment while you’ve got the time,” Alex says of the single. “The song is a call to action for everyone – especially the youth. Don’t get stuck into that boring 9 to 5 job. There’s a whole world to experience. Money comes and goes, but some moments are truly once in a lifetime.”
Alex heads out on his first UK headline tour in April 2025, bringing his electrifying performance to venues across the UK. Kicking off with a show at The Louisiana in Bristol on the 7th, the run includes a stop off in the capital at London’s Camden Assembly on the 10th and closing with a hometown gig at Manchester’s Gorilla on the 25th. Discovered whilst busking on the streets of Manchester, Alex Spencer’s street-savvy lyricism is undeniable with his song writing capability proving far beyond on his 18 years of age. While his roots are embedded in the culture of his hometown, a large portion of his childhood was spent travelling the world with his parents, which has had a profound impact on his creativity and ambitious perspective. At the age of ten, Alex picked up the guitar, inspired by his father’s playing, and hasn’t let go of it since. Self-taught and masterfully skilled, he has spent years perfecting his craft which is flawlessly showcased in ‘Bucket List’.
