Online sensation Abby Roberts has today released new single ‘Pink Champagne’ (via Melomaniac Records & Locomotion Special Projects) – LISTEN HERE. Written by Abby and Noah Terefe, the twisted love song has already been used over 50k times on TikTok before release! Abby also unveiled the stunning video which she co-directed alongside Grow Up Sad – WATCH HERE.
Of the track, Abby says: “I wrote Pink Champagne because I wanted to have a go at writing a love song but without making it cliche, there’s so many love songs out there and I didn’t wanna be all soppy! It’s essentially a breakup song reminiscing about the nicer parts of a not so perfect relationship, I think it’s super visual and manages to bring you on a journey with the dreamy vibes.”
‘Pink Champagne’ follows the release of debut single ‘Paramaniac’, which has been streamed over 500,000 times on Spotify alone. With a huge summer on the horizon, Abby has recently announced appearances at flagship UK festivals. Alongside the best emerging artists from all over the world, she’ll be hitting the stage at Brighton’s pivotal Great Escape Festival in May, as well as appearing at London’s Community Festival in July. Abby will also be heading stateside to support Halsey across a string of shows on their ‘Love and Power’ tour in North America this summer, alongside the likes of Beabadoobee, Pinkpantheress, the Marías and Wolf Alice at select dates.
