Online sensation Abby Roberts has today released beautifully honest new single ‘Cigarette Burns’ (via Melomaniac Records & Locomotion Special Projects) – LISTEN HERE. Written by Abby alongside Noah Terefe and Casper Miles, ‘Cigarette Burns’ also comes with a visualiser/lyric video – WATCH HERE.
On the track, Abby said: “Cigarette Burns is a deeply personal song I wrote about one of my lowest points in my past few years, it’s about mental health, physical pain and loss; writing it really helped me cope with those complex feelings – I can look back on the song and find comfort in it now.”
‘Cigarette Burns’ follows the release of 2022 tracks ‘bandaid’, ‘Pink Champagne’ and debut single ‘Paramaniac’, which has been streamed over 750,000 times on Spotify alone. Next month, Abby will be hitting London and Bristol for her headline shows (info here), before heading into a huge summer! Alongside the best emerging artists from all over the world, she’ll be performing at Brighton’s Great Escape Festival in May, as well as appearing at London’s Community Festival in July and Reading & Leeds Festivals in August. Abby will also be heading stateside to support Halsey across a string of shows on their ‘Love and Power’ tour in North America this summer, alongside the likes of Beabadoobee, Pinkpantheress, the Marías and Wolf Alice at select dates.
