Comedy
HELEN BAUER
Helen is an amazing, loud, high energy ball of fun. She has her own podcast called Trusty Hogs, and a new BBC pilot called Small Doses on iplayer which is well worth checking out. She had a great debut in Edinburgh and this will be her second show called Madam Good Tit.
Taking care of yourself has never been more ‘in’. Inspirational quotes and facemasks are a big industry and, like all her friends, Helen is trying to ‘be the change she wants to see’. However, like everything else, self-care is a money-making business filled with influencers that get you when you are down and you are truly stuck. Helen has lost so many hours watching ‘Yoga With Adrienne’ instead of going out for a walk…

LUCA CUPANI
Luca is Italian, he’s been in this country for years now and has done multiple Edinburgh fringes. His new show is about how he was called from Italy because they were going to dig up his mother’s grave and wanted to know what to do with the bones. it’s an insane story.
What if your mum’s death turns out to be one of the best things that have ever happened to you? The nonsense of Italian bureaucracy and a grotesque email from the cemetery led Luca to a brief, yet, untimely encounter with his late mother, ten years after her funeral. No reason to be sad though, as Luca realizes that he doesn’t miss her at all!

US comedian Sam makes a welcome return to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year with his brand-new second hour ‘Sugar Daddy’. The show will be at the Gilded Balloon Balcony for the month of August, and is a celebration of his partner, who sadly lost his life due to Covid. GLENN MOORE
Glenn was nominated for Best show a few years ago, his show titles are always mad and he’s one of the funniest shows there is in my opinion. He’s so silly and smart at the same time, the joke ratio is probably up there above almost anyone.
Other things you should know about Glenn are that he has been colour blind since birth, he was the youngest ever national newsreader in the country aged 23 and out of boredom, in lockdown, he completed 100 video games in 2020. In 2021 he completed a further 101, which he thinks might be a world record.”

RED RICHARDSON
Red is a sweetheart. He was a finalist in So You Think You’re Funny and his show is all about the famous ISIS attack in Oxford St that Olly Murs was famously caught up in House of Frazer during. Red was also there and this is all about his coming to terms with the realisation he wasn’t John McClane.
Red returns to the Edinburgh Fringe with his second stand up show entitled ‘Shots Fired’, this time to the Pleasance Courtyard Bunker One. He debuted in 2018 with his critically acclaimed show “Seeing Red” playing to packed houses at The Gilded Balloon.
