From rock and pop performances to comedians gracing the stage and a wide selection of slot websites available, the United Kingdom has plenty of entertainment opportunities for 2025. The country is often a top destination for performers on world tours to stop—and often for multiple shows, giving UK residents multiple opportunities to see some of their favourite personalities live.
Whether you’re looking for live comedy (of which there is plenty of local talent) or to see some of the world’s most buzz-worthy artists and bands, 2025 has some big events lined up for the United Kingdom, including these seven exciting world tours.
1. Jack and Michael Whitehall (January)
The Jack and Michael Whitehall Live tour will be making its way through the UK in early 2025, with stops in Portsmouth, Brighton, and Bournemouth in January before the two head to New Zealand and the United Arab Emirates. The Whitehall father-son duo has been travelling together, producing comedy since 2017, for the Netflix series Jack Whitehall: Travels With My Father. In the series, the two different personalities visit different corners of the globe and partake in unique activities. The show is filled with great father and son moments and tensions paired with comedic timing, and the two have taken their act to the stage with their world tour. Jack Whitehall has been acting since childhood, has starred in his own comedy series, Bad Education, and has been a stand-up comedian for over a decade.
2. Sabrina Carpenter (March)
Sabrina Carpenter will arrive in the UK for her Short n’ Sweet Tour in March 2025, with stops in Birmingham, London, Glasgow, and Manchester. Carpenter rose to the top of the Billboard 200 in June 2024 with two viral songs, ‘Espresso’ and ‘Please Please Please’. However, these songs were far from the first she’s released, as Carpenter has been releasing music since she was a Disney star in 2014. Her 2024 success was linked to her opening for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in 2023 and 2024. Alongside singing, her career has encompassed acting, with her first major role in Girl Meets World, a spin-off of the ‘90s series Boy Meets World.
3. Dua Lipa (June)
With her YouTube covers capturing the attention of top music management, Dua Lipa has since skyrocketed to fame and become a globally recognised name. Her Radical Optimism Tour will find its way to the UK (where she spent her childhood) in June 2025, with stops in London and Liverpool. Her career started making waves with her 2015 singles, followed by a 2017 album release. This first album brought two of her most well-known songs, ‘IDGAF’ and ‘New Rules’. Since then, she’s had five songs reach the top ten of Billboard’s Top 100 and has become a three-time Grammy Award winner.
4. Guns N’ Roses (June)
In addition to the pop-styling of Dua Lipa, the UK will also have the opportunity to see the iconic hard rock band Guns N’ Roses as they embark on their Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things tour. The band, which released their debut album in 1987, arrived on the music scene with drama; their rock and roll look proved to be more than a look, but rather a lifestyle, leading to plenty of controversy surrounding the band, its music, and concerts. That didn’t stop them from creating hits like ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’, ‘Welcome to the Jungle’, and ‘Live and Let Die’, along with many covers of classic hits. Many band members have come and gone, but today’s members and the personalities you’ll see on tour include Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan, Dizzy Reed, Richard Fortus, Frank Ferrer, and Melissa Reese.
5. Iron Maiden (June)
Celebrating their 50th anniversary, Iron Maiden is going on their Run For Your Lives World Tour around Europe. The tour will go through the UK in late June, stopping in Birmingham, Manchester, London, and Glasgow. The band will be performing songs from their entire discography, meaning you’ll likely get to enjoy some of their best songs, including ‘Hallowed Be Thy Name’, ‘The Trooper’, and ‘Run to the Hills’. The metal-rock band was formed by bassist Steve Harris in 1975 and quickly rose to global fame.
6. Billie Eilish (July)
Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour started in September 2024. The first few months of the tour have seen Eilish performing across the United States and Canada, but in 2025, the singer will arrive in Europe for the next leg of the tour. The stops will take her to many UK venues in mid-July, including The O2 in London and Co-op Live in Manchester. Eilish has delivered hit after hit since her debut single ‘Ocean Eyes’, which she released when she was just 15. Since then, she’s continued delivering albums to her massive fan base (she has 103 million followers on Spotify) and has become a seven-time Grammy Award winner.
7. Coldplay (August)
Coldplay arrives in the UK in August, with stops in Hull and at London’s Wembley Stadium. The Music of the Spheres World Tour celebrates the band’s ninth album of the same name. Throughout the band’s history, they’ve collaborated with huge names in the music industry, including Beyoncé, Avicii, Timbaland, and BTS, while still delivering a distinct and recognisable sound that nods to their first breakthrough song, ‘Yellow’. The band formed in 1998 after its four members, Chris Martin, Will Champion, Guy Berryman, and Jonny Buckland, met at University College London. They have won seven Grammy Awards and has been nominated for 34.
