This Friday sees the release of Merseyside alt rockers The Mysterines’ debut album ‘Reeling’ following the release of the final single from the record, ‘Dangerous’.
The album release follows 2 completely sold-out tours in 2020 and 2021 and sees the band becoming a true force to be reckoned with in UK rock. A mix of indie, blues rock and Britpop, the album has seen comparisions to PJ Harvey, Hole and The Stooges. The band are currently midway through a short run of intimate instore appearances and return to the road in April to promote the record with a full UK headline tour.
TotalNtertainment caught up with vocalist Lia Metcalfe to chat about the album, her influences and why recording “Reeling” was one of the hardest things she has ever done. Watch the interview here:
