Following sell-out UK shows, the British Podcast Award-winning The Totally Football Show is heading out of the studio and hitting the road once again. Presenter James Richardson will be joined by some of the country’s finest football writers at a number of venues this autumn.
The live shows will feature the podcast’s trademark puns and punditry, football tales far too risque for the regular podcast, and the audience’s opportunity to win prizes for putting their footballing queries to the panel.
These shows mark the fourth batch of live outings for James and the Totally team, who are eager to engage with their fans in the most direct way once again.
Among others, the special guests at the upcoming dates will include Rafa Honigstein, Julien Laurens, James Horncastle and Duncan Alexander – with more to be confirmed!
London show – Monday 30 September
James Richardson and the Totally Football Show gang kick off another season at London’s Southbank Centre, where the stage will be graced by Opta’s Duncan Alexander and European footie experts Julien Laurens and James Horncastle. They’ll be pondering questions such as: how can Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea close the gap on Liverpool and Man City? Who will prove to be the worst signing of the summer? And how much are we allowed to laugh at the misery of Man Utd?
Dublin show – Friday 8 November
The team will return to the Irish capital, Liberty Hall to be precise, as part of the Dublin Podcast Festival. Join James, Producer Ben and special guests from the Totally pod squad as they discuss the Premier League (including that weekend’s massive game between Liverpool and Man City), the Champions League and much, much more. Grab a Guinness or three and sit back for football tales far too cheeky for the regular show.
Belfast show – Saturday 9 November
Never mind the backstop – it’s the Totally Football Show, live for the first time ever in Belfast! James and the pod squad will be at the Limelight on Saturday 9 November to discuss all the goings-on in the Premier League, the Champions League and beyond. There’ll be stats and sarcasm, and lots of prizes for you to win
Liverpool show – Monday 25 November
TFS heads to the historic Epstein Theatre on Monday 25 November for its first ever event in Liverpool! James Richardson and Producer Ben will be joined on stage by Rafa Honigstein (author of the Jurgen Klopp biography, Bring The Noise) as well as pod favourites Julien Laurens and Duncan Alexander as they check in on the title race, the Champions League and ask what’s going on in the blue half of Merseyside.
