Following a highly acclaimed and hugely successful run at this Edinburgh Fringe, winning the Biggest Award in Comedy by streaming platform Next Up and being nominated for Best Newcomer Edinburgh Comedy Awards, Lindsey Santoro brings Pink Tinge to the Birmingham Glee and London’s Soho Theatre.
Naturally effusive and full of giddy joy, Lindsey is the people’s Princess of Birmingham, and as one the most original female voices to come out of the West Midlands, she has a big personality and backs it up with big laughs and is currently proving herself to be a future star and definitely one to watch.
In Pink Tinge, Lindsey will take you on a haphazard journey through her life in Brum, taking a very matter-of-fact outlook on things whilst trying to balance family life, attempting to be a confident woman and dealing with completely absurd circumstances. Guttural and in the gutter.
Lindsey was finalist in the 2021 British Comedian of the Year competition, as well as Semi Finalist at the BBC New Comedy Awards, Funny Women Regional Finalist, Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year Semi Finalist and Leicester Comedy Festival Best Podcast Award Nominee for ‘Biggest Idiot’.
After building a cult following in the West Midlands, Lindsey is breaking on to TV & Radio with appearances on Channel 4’s The Joy of Missing Out and Late Night Lycett, BBC R4’s Elephant In The Room with Sarah Millican and Comedy Central Live. Recently Lindsey supported Russell Kane on tour, and Joe Lycett on the Arena leg of his most recent tour.
